This rule, titled Answers, Pleas, Demurrers, and Motions, says that defendants must file pleadings in response (including a demurrer, plea, motion to dismiss, request for a bill of particulars, or a motion craving oyer) – within 21 days after service of the summons and complaint on the defendant.
